Care instructions: contrary to popular belief, cashmere is perfectly happy with water. Washing cashmere helps it to stay soft and supple over time.
We advise you to wash your cashmere garments from Le Chat on a cycle for delicate fabrics or in cold water, and at a lower spin to limit any damage to the fibres.
If possible, use a washing power or liquid especially designed for wool, and dry your cashmere garment by laying it out flat, to keep its shape.
Cashmere garments can also cast off a certain amount of excess fabric when rubbed, but this does not affect the quality of the piece in any way.
If you can, avoid wearing your cashmere garments on consecutive days, as this will allow the fabric to rest.
