Modal: modal is an artificial fabric similar to viscose, obtained by extracting cellulose from beech wood. Micromodal fibres are extremely fine, giving them a feel that is supersoft and supple. It is also breathable. These qualities naturally make it a great choice for garments worn next to the skin.

Viscose: viscose is a textile made using plant-based materials such as wood pulp. The manufacturing process itself is artificial, so we refer to such fabrics as being 'synthetic fibres of natural origin'. Viscose is also called 'artificial silk' for its silky feel and shine, and its incredible softness.
